PROPELLAR_

Propellar is a duo based in Berlin (Germany). Jan & Justin are best friends in life, they've started to share their love for electronic music during their studies in Mannheim, both of them being part of different pop bands. While producing and writing music for other artists such as Alle Farben, they began to shape their unique sound. In 2016, their first remix as Propellar got featured in the famous "Sound of Berlin" compilation. They next connected with artists like Andy's Echo (Stil vor Talent) and released on Dirty Doering's label Mukke. Things speeded up in 2021, when they released a series of tracks on Katz & Kauz label, including the acclaimed 'Julee' feat. Kalaa. In June 2022, Propellar released 'Come Around' on Family Piknik Music, along with a few other releases on Stil vor Talent and Iconyc. On stage, the duo transports the vibrant danceability of electronic music through organic live performances and memorable melodies, made for intimate living room coziness as well as uniting group hugs in your favorite clubs. Being rooted between House, Disco and Indie Pop, they combine chunky beats and overdriven analogue synths with reverb-soaked vocals and guitars.
